North American Launch of Fate/Grand Order Game!!

Today is the day, it’s finally here. You may have heard of me talking about the Fate anime series in multiple posts. Maybe you already know of this great series just like I do. Well, Aniplex and Type-Moon came up with Fate/Grand Order mobile role-playing game in Asian countries. It quickly became a huge hit. Today, you can get the game in the English North American version for IOS and Android. Grab it and let me know what you think!!

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2017) – Aniplex of America announced that Fate/Grand Order is now available in North America for iOS and Android. Previously only available in select Asian markets (Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) the free-to-play game continues to outperform other mobile games such as Pokémon GO, Clash Royale, and Candy Crush Saga in worldwide revenue.

Prior to launch, Aniplex staged a highly successful social media campaign on Facebook which allowed fans to unlock exciting content for the game. In-game prizes included the Craft Essence “Beginning of the Journey,” 6,000 Friend Points, ten 4-star Blaze of Wisdom, five each of the 3-star Hero Crystals Sun Fou and Star Fou, a whopping 42 Saint Quartz, and one 4-star Servant from a choice of ten. Additionally, players unlocked the Saber Class Servant SABER LILY. This is Saber after she drew Caliburn the Sword of Selection from the stone, and set off on her path as King. Characterized by her sweet demeanor and lily-like features, her eyes shine bright with hope. Her great intuition and sensitivity toward others mean she cannot ignore those in need. Those touched by her benevolence and generosity call her the “Knight Princess.”

One of the most successful mobile role-playing games ever in Japan, Fate/Grand Order has players summon powerful allies or Heroic Spirits, who are based on historical figures such as King Arthur, William Shakespeare, Hercules, and Joan of Arc. The game takes players back through history to embark on an epic quest known as Grand Order. Released July 2015 in Japan, last fall in China, and just this past month in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, Fate/Grand Order has been downloaded over 9 million times. It has consistently topped iOS and Android charts, outperforming other popular games in downloads and revenue. The game’s exciting storyline and compelling play keep fans engaged and wanting more.

Further details of the North American version will be released regularly on the official website (http://fate-go.us), Facebook (@FateGO.USA), and Twitter (@FateGO_USA). In addition, new information will be announced throughout conventions across the United States starting at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July. Fate/Grand Order: First Order Anime Preview

So the Fate series is back with their new anime Fate/Grand Order: First Order coming soon. Each series is based off a jrpg game and manga with the same name and characters. So you have: Fate/Zero; Fate/Stay Night; Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works and not in that exact order.

It’s produced by Aniplex, Notes, Type-Moon and Ufotable and so many more have worked on the series. Kinoko Nasu is the original creator for each entity of the Fate series. Kenji Kawai has done the music for the series forever and he’s done the music for most of the best shows in anime. His work dates all the way back to anime in the 80’s, the big one for me is the music from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Oh, my there is some great music in that show.

Each Fate series centers around the fight to win the one ultimate wish called, “The Holy Grail.” Generations of families that practice magic have fought in the war, some no longer existing at all. Typically, Masters don’t fight alone, they can summon a servant/ to assist them. Servants are usually some historical figure/heroic spirit; fictional and non-fictional. The catch is there are only a few classes of each servant and you get one. The classes are: Archer, Saber, Caster, Lancer, Rider, Assassin, Berserker typically. The master and servant feed off each other’s magic level and the stronger the better. It’s an awesome series and I love each one. Catch it on Crunchyroll 12/31. They do have a linear connection so watch in the correct order.

Fate/Grand Order: First Order is set in the year 2015, during the final era over which magic still held a strong influence. The humanity survival and security organization Chaldea was established to observe the world that can only be seen by magic and the world that can only be measured by science; as well as to prevent the final extinction of humanity.

Thanks to the efforts of many researchers, the path of human history has been ensured for 100 years into the future. However, without warning, the realm of the future that was under constant observation by Chaldea vanished. The extinction of humanity in 2017 was observed—no, confirmed.

The apparent cause of the extinction was in the Japanese city of Fuyuki in 2004. In that city, there was an “unobservable realm” which had never existed until now.

Chaldea issued the Grand Order for a “Holy Grail Expedition,” to investigate, uncover, and possibly destroy the singularity that apparently will cause the extinction of humanity.
