Black Clover Guests and More Headed to V-CRX

Black Clover is arguably one of the greatest sleeper Shonen anime out currently. Anime fans that can get past the main character, Asta’s yelling are in for a great show. The show ended abruptly unfinished in the height of the climax though. Fans across the world were in a state of shock. Fortunately Japan decided to give us the news that the show would get a follow up film. Like I’ve said before this is a way to earn more money for the show and all that are involved with making it. It’s the new wave of how the industry wants to work. I certainly don’t have a problem with that, because I know it’s worth it one hundred percent! Word on the street is that a few members from the Black Clover staff are stopping by Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021 (V-CRX).

  • Ayataka Tanemura, a Director for Black Clover. His works also include Naruto Shippuden and Twin Star Exorcists.
  • Gakuto Kajiwara, the voice of Asta from Black Clover (also known for his work as Shinra Kusakabe from Fire Force, Shun Kuribayashi from Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Ake from The Rising of the Shield Hero)
  • Reiji Kawashima, the voice of Fushi from To Your Eternity (also known for his work on Shadow House and Ekimemo! -Station Memories!-)
  • Takeshi Takadera, sound director for To Your Eternity. With over 25 years of experience in the Japanese anime industry, some of his biggest projects include To Your Eternity, Laid-Back Camp, Yowamushi Pedal, and My Senpai is Annoying.

Yowamushi Pedal is another great show we love. The cycling sports show with Onoda is one of our favorites that you can catch on Crunchyroll too. I can wait to hear about the great musical direction of that show. Those that know the show will know one of the most important songs of that show the, “Princess Hime Song!”

Crunchyroll will also be announcing some new V-CRX guests at the Crunchyroll industry panel at Anime Expo Lite on Saturday, July 3 at 12:15 PM PDT, so fans should tune in to hear the latest! Virtual Crunchyroll Expo brings together the global anime community to celebrate the best and brightest in Japanese animation. The event will be streaming free from August 5-7 only on expo.crunchyroll.com.
