You all know we’re huge fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero. Last year the production and art staff gave us great news talking about the show and reveal the key art for the second season! The second season starts October 2021 on Crunchyroll! We even purchased the limited edition Collectors Art Book at last year’s Virtual Crunchyroll Expo (V-CRX). With all of that it’s great that three Japanese Voice Actors from Shield Hero will attend V-CRX 2021!
Three actors from The Rising of the Shield Hero will be joining the event in August including:
- Asami Seto, the voice of Raphtalia (also known for her work as Chihaya Ayase from Chihayafuru, and Mai Sakurajima from Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai)
- Kaito Ishikawa, the voice of Naofumi Iwatani (also known for his work as Sakuta Azusagawa from Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, and Ledo from Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet)
- Rina Hidaka, the voice of Filo (also known for her work in Inu X Boku Secret Service as Ririchiyo Shirakiin and Strike the Blood as Nagisa Akatsuki)
In addition to these exciting guests, V-CRX attendees can also get ready for the return of the Crunchyroll Industry panel, which will include sneak peeks, special surprises and more, alongside news around the upcoming Crunchyroll Original series High Guardian Spice.
As a reminder for fans interested in hosting their own panel at V-CRX this year, global fan panel submissions will close Friday, June 11.
Fans worldwide can register for V-CRX for free by visiting expo.crunchyroll.com to catch all the action, announcements, guest panels, and more from the three-day event.
Virtual Crunchyroll Expo brings together the global anime community to celebrate the best and brightest in Japanese animation. The event will be streaming from August 5-7 only on expo.crunchyroll.com.
