Crunchyroll Expo hasn’t missed a beat since the pandemic. They just decided to go virtual to keep everyone involved safe until times are close to normal. Last year’s virtual was Crunchyroll’s first of its kind. We were at the con every day and enjoyed the con. You can find our review here if you missed it last year. The second year of the con going Virtual is upon us; Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2021 will be August 5-7.
It’s not too late to register for free for these epic three days of anime, fans, panels, merch, cosplay, and more. There’s also plenty of time to sign up for fan panels you want to run and the Cosplay Cup contest. So that’s the immediate things and business you might want to get involved in. We’ll be there and hopefully getting a few scoops.
The event will transport guests back to New Crunchy City on August 5-7 with exciting guest panels, exclusive world premieres, and of course, fun merchandise. Fan panel submissions close on Friday, June 11, entries for the Cosplay Cup are due on Sunday, June 6, and submissions for Artists’ Alley are due on Friday, May 7. To stay updated on the latest V-CRX 2021 announcements, fans can sign up for the newsletter here. Virtual Crunchyroll Expo brings together the global anime community to celebrate the best and brightest in Japanese animation. The event will be streaming from August 5-7 only on expo.crunchyroll.com. In the meantime, check out the info for more and the website for everything else.
