Hey, so we reviewed the early access of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Prequel or Zero Volume. We gave our thoughts and everything in the review. You can read that review here. The thing that the prequel left of us thinking was how canon was this volume? Well, guess what? If you’ve been paying attention to the manga much further along, you’ve probably seen some hints. Furthermore, if you happened to catch the New Year’s Special episode of the anime or the recent episode 14, they dropped two significant clues. There’s a future character we haven’t seen that we majorly learn of in the Zero Volume.
I’m excited to learn that Yuta Okkotsu is canon, and I can’t wait for his introduction in the anime. It just hypes this show up even more than usual. This show might be another anime where the main MC doesn’t always have to be forefront. Half the time, I don’t care about Itadori because the characters in this show are all well written. Some have either great backstories or soon to be character development because they are younger and untrained. I said this would be a hit when I reviewed the manga’s first volume, thanks to Viz Media. So far, so good Jujutsu Kaisen.
If anyone wants to catch up with the manga, they can check out Viz Media for digital or physical copies. Also, Viz Media’s partner, Shonen Jump, has an app that you can get the manga volumes on. Since you’re here already, you probably know you can stream the anime only at Crunchyroll in English Dub and Sub!
