Crunchyroll Presents Miyavi Live Facebook Concert



The sensational Japanese rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, actor, and more Miyavi blessed the anime community yesterday July 17, 2020. In a year when concerts, conventions, and social gatherings are canceled because of Coronavirus. There’s not that much to be happy or excited about lately. News broke out several days ago that Crunchyroll would be presenting a virtual concert with Miyavi. Crunchyroll would present the concert from their Facebook page Live across the world.


The Miyavi the Japanese rock celeb is known as the Samurai Guitarist for his unconventional guitar style. He plays without using picks and incorporates a slap style to between his fingerpicking. He has been rocking since 1999, starting with other bands and then eventually his leading man show. He was many Japan, World, and North American tours. His latest North American tour was just canceled because of the virus outbreak this year.

We at Anime Pad have heard of Miyavi many many times but never heard his music. Then we were introduced to him in 2018 through his acting skills in the Bleach Live-Action film portraying the role of Byakuya Kuchiki. It was then that we learned he’s a fan of anime also along with his rock persona. His recent songs can be heard on the anime ID: Invaded on Funimation.
