A Great Veteran Anime

Thanks to all our Veterans active and retired that serve.

I’m not sure if a Vet would like anime related military shows or not. I happen to love an anime that’s about politics, weapons, and militaries. Here’s my recommendation, Jormungand.

Jormungand is a great anime and manga. The anime had two great seasons starting in 2012. The story was so well done, the animation was great, and the art was just as stellar. The show had enough for an OVA or another season. We didn’t get it though.

The manga is published by Viz Media in North America. The studio that produced the show was White Fox. White Fox is known for producing more mature shows. Their latest big hit being Goblin Slayer a mature fantasy show. Currently Funimation owns the American streaming rights and distribution.

The show is full of action, story, and plot twists. It touches on many subjects of war and politics. Child soldier Jonah is the newest member of the mercenary squad employed by Koko, an international arms dealer. The cold-blooded kid carries a deep hatred for those in Koko’s line of work, but following her into the darkest corners of the black market might be his only shot at finding the merchant of death responsible for the slaughter of his family. The show takes you for a wild ride. It’s smart, sassy, sexy, and action-packed! You can find it on Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Funimation.
