DC Is Still Great with the Animated Films

“The sudden emergence of four would-be heirs to the title, Superman.”

Yes. I know this isn’t anime, but it’s animated and I love it too. I remember way back when I was a kid when Superman died in the comics. He fought Doomsday, lost and died from the battle. From that battle we gained several other Supermen. Different versions of Superman with different stories and powers. Now, we have the animated film from this time. “Reign Of The Supermen,” by Warner Bros.(WB) & Detective Comics(DC).

I didn’t even know that this movie was coming out or ever created. I’m excited to see the trailer for it and it looks good. I’m not sure how they will weave the story together but seeing them all on the screen in action will be quite the sight. The trailer has over 615,000 views so far, 16 thousand likes versus 261 dislikes.

The thousands of comments are all mostly positive. Most of the commentors are comic fans that have as much knowledge as me and years of experience with the franchise. Most of them stating the same things that I think. DC’s animated films are so much better and greater than their live-action counterparts. Commenters share my thoughts that this movie looks great. The trailer really catches the audience’s eye, certain cuts and scenes were made just for this purpose. There’s just enough left over to leave you with suspense, intrigue and questions.

The release dates are Jan. 15, 2019 for regular digital and Jan. 29, 2019 for Blu-ray options. I’m excited and can’t wait!!
