“’DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri.: Reunion’ illustrated U.S. fans’ appetite for the best Japanese animation content to be available in their local movie theaters,” Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt said. “All of us at Fathom Events are pleased to partner again with Toei Animation for this highly-anticipated three-title Digimon series, giving fans more of the anime that they desire.”

“Digimon’s impact in the United States is without question, and we’re excited to continue our successful association with Fathom Events in presenting Digimon’s ongoing saga,” said Masayuki Endo, President of Toei Animation Inc. “With surprises in store even for the most dedicated Digimon fan, our unmatched creative team approached DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri. with a passion that will be apparent to audiences.”

Now, if moviegoers and fans are concerned, Fathom is skipping two of the movies in the series. SPOILER ALERT. The two movies that are skipped do keep the story going and explain some things from the first movie. They aren’t very action packed and are hard to sit through unless you are an absolute fan of Digimon. You can certainly catch the episodes subtitled on Crunchyroll.com.
